Gerald Lenning, CPA founded the company in 1979 at the Seal Beach location. Prior to founding the company, Jerry graduated from Cal State University at Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He served four years as an Air Force officer earning the rank of Captain. While working at the IRS as a Revenue Agent auditing business and corporation tax returns, he attended the University of Southern Ca in the evening in their Master of Tax Program. After 6 years with the IRS and a couple of years with a local CPA firm in Los Angeles, he opened the Seal Beach office in 1979. Jerry lives in Seal Beach with his wife Diane of over 50 years. They have 3 children, 6 grandkids, and 2 great grand kids. Church, family, and managing various real estate ventures are the main priorities in his life.
In 2024, after many years of fulfilling service in the field of accounting, Jerry has decided to retire. However, he continues to be present in our office daily.

Tanya Lenning-Lansing is the CEO and a Partner at Lenning Tax & Accounting Services, Inc., where she proudly continues the legacy of her family’s business as the daughter of its founder. She joined Lenning & Co. in 2007 and, in 2024, assumed the role of CEO as the firm transitioned to Lenning Tax & Accounting Services, Inc.
Tanya is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and a CPA Candidate, currently preparing to complete all four parts of the CPA exam. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management (2012) and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of La Verne (2009).
With nearly two decades of experience, Tanya specializes in tax strategy and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. She is recognized for her strong client relationships, strategic insights, and commitment to professional excellence.
Tanya is involved in the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce and outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her husband, three grown children, and four beloved grandchildren.
Stephanie Briceno, Enrolled Agent

Stephanie Briceno began her career at Lenning & Co., Inc. in October 2003 as part of the Company’s administration team. During which time she obtained her foundation in taxation by having the invaluable opportunity to learn from the Firm’s CPAs and former employees of the Internal Revenue Service. In early 2008 she began an intensive course of study of taxation in preparation for sitting for the 3 part Enrolled Agent Examination. The studying lasted less than a year before receiving her Certificate of Enrollment in January 2009 after successfully passing all three parts of the exam. Having passed IRS awarded her “Enrolled Agent" designation, which is the highest credential the IRS awards. After which she began providing bookkeeping, payroll, income tax audit representation, and income tax preparation services. Her knowledge base is ever growing as she continues to study taxation and maintain a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education each year. Today, she is privileged to have approximately 400, and growing, of the most amazing group of clients ranging from individual and business owners with corporations as well as rental properties.
John Rose, CPA

John Rose is a CPA who graduated from Cal State Fullerton University with a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. John worked at the IRS for many years before going into public accounting. John worked at a local CPA firm in Fullerton for years before becoming a partner at a local firm in Long Beach for many years, before joining the Lenning & Co. Inc. team at the end of 2012. John specializes in and has over 30 years of experience in all types of income tax matters. John is also an active member in the Monarch Beach Sunrise Rotary Club where he recently served as Treasurer John lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife of 39 years, Maryanne. John and Maryanne met and got married while both working at the IRS. John and Maryanne have 3 wonderful grown up children (2 daughters and 1 son). John enjoys spending time with his family including jogging with his wife and favorite dog, Cali.
Rodney M. Scott, CPA
Certified Public Accountant
Rodney M. Scott, CPA joined the team in 2023. He graduated from California State University Long Beach in 1993 with a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis. Rodney works on individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns. Rodney attends church regularly, and also loves to play golf, ride his bike and workout in his off time.
Jonathan Park, CPA, CFA

Jonathan Park is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with over 15 years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and valuation. He holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
Jonathan began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City in 2007, where he provided assurance services to financial institution clients. He later transitioned into the investment industry in New York, focusing on valuation and financial analysis. Throughout his career, he has remained closely engaged with accounting and tax matters, recognizing that sound valuation work is grounded in a strong accounting and tax foundation.
At Lenning Tax and Accounting Services, Inc., Jonathan specializes in trust and estate-related tax matters, fair market value valuations, and business valuation for gifting, estate administration, and business transactions. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family and especially values traveling together. One of his most memorable experiences was riding a bicycle with his daughter in Yosemite National Park.
Natalie Lopez
Registered Tax Preparer
Natalie began her career with Lenning Tax and Accounting Services, Inc. on December 7, 2020, and has been a valued member of the firm for over five years. As a Registered Tax Preparer, she works with clients on a wide range of tax matters, providing accurate, compliant, and thorough tax preparation services.
Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach, where she developed strong analytical and organizational skills that support her work. She values clear communication and takes pride in helping clients feel informed and comfortable throughout the tax process.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys traveling, connecting with family and friends, and spending time with her cat.
Nick Lenning

After relocating to Surprise, Arizona in 2019, Nicholas set out to build a life centered on growth—both personally and professionally. Originally from California, he spent years working alongside a diverse range of professionals, gaining invaluable experience and a strong foundation in service, operations, and client-focused work.
Nicholas earned his CTEC certification in 2015 and has been preparing tax returns for the past 10 years. Through his work, he has developed a deep understanding of tax compliance, documentation, and client service, assisting individuals and businesses with their annual filings and related needs.
He is known for his dedication, attention to detail, and hands-on approach to problem-solving. He thrives in collaborative environments and has built his reputation through consistent, dependable service.
Now living in Surprise with his wife of over seven years, their daughter, and two spoiled dogs, Nicholas finds joy in balancing his professional life with personal passions. Outside of work, he enjoys experimenting with new recipes, working on 3D printing projects, tinkering in the garage, and spending quality time with family and friends. Whether it's a summer afternoon by the pool or a casual poker night, Nicholas values the relationships and moments that keep life meaningful.
Albert Namo
Accountant
Albert is a homegrown San Diegan accounting professional with a degree in Finance from California State University San Marcos. He began his career in public accounting and later moved to Seal Beach to join Lenning and Associates, where he gained tax experience while staying closely connected to family and friends in San Diego.
As a general accountant, Albert oversees monthly and annual financial responsibilities for a diverse range of clients and supports the preparation of various tax returns. Known for his reliability and hands-on approach, he brings both technical expertise and genuine dedication to every client relationship.
Outside of work, Albert is a devoted Padres fan—attending home and away games, especially at “Petco Park North” in Chavez Ravine. When he’s not at the ballpark, he splits his free time between the gym and spending quality moments with family and friends.
Elaina Rardin
Receptionist
Elaina is happily part of the Lenning Tax and Accounting Administration team, where her bubbly and sparkling personality has been putting smiles on client’s faces since 2024. Always willing to go above and beyond for our staff and clients, her lightheartedness is a front desk favorite.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, gaming & spending time with her husband, Patrick and their dog Abbi.
